I am a married, Mom of twins (grown guys now!) I've lived in six different states, due to my Husband being in the Air Force for 20 years. I moved from Wisconsin back in 1982 to Tacoma, WA. We lived there for eight months and were married there, then moved to Honolulu, HI for three years, where our twins were born back in 1985. From there, it was on to North Carolina, then to Maryland, then BACK to Wisconsin, and now we are in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Three years ago, we were blessed with our first grand-daughter, then our second grand-daughter was born 6 months later! They are the lights of my life! I never realized what fun it would be to be Gramma!

We've had a lot of adventures moving around so often, at various stages of our lives, with and without children and most recently with our two cats, Dixie and Misty, both age 4. it's been a wonderful "ride" so far! Not to mention some great learning experiences!

I have always enjoyed writing, and was on the school newspaper staff throughout High School. I am a BIG fan of Mr. Alan Jackson, country music singer and song-writer, who has sold over 50 million albums (I told my Husband the very FIRST time we saw this guy perform live that he was going to be HUGE). I have done some published writing for a fan magazine of Alan Jackson called "The Neon Rainbow." I loved doing that, and was sorry when the magazine was not published any more. I have kept on writing, but didn't have an "outlet" for my creativity until I found "Hub Pages"! 

Recently, I've even had one of my hubs become a "HubNugget" winner here, thank you from the bottom of my heart to those that voted for that, it was fun writing about job hunting in Las Vegas! It's great to be here!
